Fernando Prestes Maia is a young man of almost half a century, who lived half of his life abroad as the son of a diplomat (7 countries/5 languages), and who for 25 years has been educating, training, empowering and transforming talents for the future, through linguistic, intercultural, international, entrepreneurial, political, executive and behavioral education.
He studied Applied Linguistics in Germany and specialized in People Management, Coaching, Mentoring, Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness in Brazil, with certifications abroad.
He developed his passion for people and in +25 years he has trained +5,000 people and has experience of +15,000 hours in the classroom (teaching/coaching/mentoring/training).
Its goal is to empower 100,000 talents, and subsequently impact 1 billion people on the planet (or beyond ;-).
He started working at age 15: he was a newspaper delivery boy, waiter, receptionist, security guard, master of ceremonies, translator and language teacher, and did an internship at a German airline.
As an entrepreneur and executive, he had a network of language schools for 10 years with operations in SP and RJ, was a partner in a foreign trade trading company having negotiated with more than 20 countries, acted as a Sr. consultant for preparatory courses for MBA's abroad , was managing partner of an international strategic alliance consultancy with a network in 14 countries, was country manager of a joint venture with a German hospitality company for mega events, having participated in the 2013/2014 FIFA Cups, Rio 2016 Olympics, among others, and to this day, he leads his training and coaching company.
He is a certified consultant in +20 methodologies, tests, methods, games and courses, which enrich his vast experience and curriculum in executive, corporate, and educational environments, locally and globally. As an internationally certified Mentor and Coach, he has been working for over 20 years, training, motivating and developing (coaching), and empowering (mentoring) managers and executives in Brazil and abroad. It also acts as a Global Leadership Facilitator and Coach for the UN, through the UNDP (UNDP) and PMA (WFP) agencies. He is also the creator of some organizational theories and corporate concepts in the themes of corporate politics, leadership, and sustainability.
In the third sector, he worked in and led several NGOs in the Latin American cultural sector, in the representation of entrepreneurial categories in class entities, in the area of citizenship, and in traditional and new forms of political expression, also acting on the board of some startups and mentoring for political candidates and government programs.
As an author, he has written for some media and newspapers, is a columnist for Jornal Destak, maintains a blog of chronicles, #mixdehoje, and leads the initiative 'Um Brasil Possível', launched in 2016.
Her dream is to help, inspire and empower every Brazilian to a higher level in knowledge, performance and citizenship, so that, one day, we can finally be a reference on the planet.
